Tests: Rohit Sharma scores his first double century, and becomes the fortieth Indian player to reach the 2,000 runs milestone. Ajinkya Rahane scores his eleventh century, third against South Africa, and first at the JSCA Stadium. India win successive Tests, and also the inaugural match between the two countries at the Maharastra Cricket Association Stadium. India record the highest score at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground, and a score of over 600 runs for the thirtieth time. Virat Kohli scores his seventh double century, records the highest score as an Indian Captain, the highest score by an Indian number four batsmen, highest score at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground, and the highest score in 2019.

ODI's: Pakistan win successive matches against Sri Lanka, to win the series 2-0, and record their ninth win in thirteen series against Sri Lanka in Pakistan. Danushka Gunathilaka records his highest score in his second century. Pakistan record their first win of the series, and have now won six of the nine matches against Sri Lanka at the National Stadium. Usman Shinwari records his second best bowling performance, and the fifth time that he has taken four wickets or more in a match. Babar Azam scores his eleventh century, first in Pakistan, with all eleven centuries scored when batting at number three position, and has Pakistan's highest batting average. Shehan Jayasuriya records his highest score. Namibia win successive matches against Papua New Guinea.
