Ross Taylor scores his nineteenth century, third against England, sixth at Seddon Park, and became the second New Zealand player to reach the 7,000 runs milestone. Kane Williamson scores his twenty first century, third against England, fourth at Seddon Park, and has New Zealand's highest batting average. Joe Root scores his third double century, and first against New Zealand. Neil Wagner takes five wickets in an innings for the ninth time, sixth in New Zealand, and second at Seddon Park. Australia win the series 2-0, and remain undefeated in the thirteen series against Pakistan in Australia. Nathan Lyon takes five wickets in an innings for the sixteenth time, first against Pakistan and the fourth at Adelaide Oval.
