The International Cricket Council (ICC) has sent an email to its members urging them not to provide NOCs (No Objection Certificates) to its players for MiLC and MLC, only days after a historic MLC draft in Houston.

The teams for the event, which is set to start on July 13, selected a number of current and past international players at the 19 March draft, including Wanindu Hasranga, Mitchell Marsh, Quinton De Kock, Marcus Stoinis, Aaron Finch, and Anrich Nortje.

Following a meeting of the ICC's Chief Executives Committee in March, it was determined that the West Indies Cricket Board would continue to serve as the tournament's principal hosts while the U.S. would get assignments for matches.
