The Effect of the Toss on Results

Recently in our office, someone questioned the relationship between winning the toss
and winning the match. As a result, we have performed some analysis of all test matches
played prior to the start of 2002. We found the results rather surprising, and summarise them in this

Sir Donald Bradman Dies
26th Feb, 2001: On Sunday morning, South Australian time, the cricket
world lost its greatest ever batsman. Sir Donald, who retired from test cricket in 1948,
was revered around the cricketing world. His batting record stands so far above all others
that is it highly unlikely that it will ever be challenged.
